A longer pedal is used in the TPR kit compared to previous aftermarket brake kits for the DRR. With the longer TPR pedal, riders can move more freely about their machine without awkwardly adjusting their riding position to use the rear brake. The longer pedal no longer crowds the foot peg, yet riders don’t have to reach to operate the rear brake.

The TPR brake kit also features a larger pedal pad, which gives the rider better grip and allows for quicker location of the rear brake. The entire pedal is made of a heavier gauge steel that is embossed for added strength and is designed to handle the abuse of competition racing.

TPR engineered its pedal kit to work with existing rear, vertical-pump type master cylinders. But the TPR kit comes with a new mount for the master cylinder and secures the master cylinder in a more vertical position, which allows for better pedal pressure and improved braking performance.

All hardware is included in the TPR kit. The new pedal pivot bearing features a larger bearing surface for smoother operation. And the pin and bushing are manufactured from stainless steel to prevent drag from corrosion.
