John Natalie finishes out the season on the Podium at Loretta Lynn's AMA ATV Motocross

Hurricane Mills, TN (8/19/2009) -The final round of the AMA ATV Motocross Championship was an exciting one for the Can-Am /Warnert Racing team as John Natalie charged his way to the podium at Loretta Lynn’s.

Loretta Lynn’s Ranch, the legendary destination for the final round of the motocross season, saw plenty of high-speed action as Natalie flew off the line in the number four spot. Natalie battled with Dustin Wimmer before being able to take over the number three position at the mid way point of the moto. Once in third, the number 13 Can-Am held the position and cruised to the finish line.

In moto two, Natalie was sixth off the line but quickly worked into 5th before the end of the first lap. By lap two, Natalie made his way into the number four position where he rode unchallenged all the way to the finish line. Natalie’s 3-4 finishes earned him the final spot on the podium and put him in seventh place in season end points. “It felt really good to finish the season on the podium. We have spent a lot of time dialing in the bikes and fine tuning them this season so I think next season we are in line for a championship,” stated Natalie.

#22 Cody Miller & #13 John Natalie Jr

Cody Miller had two consistent motos to finish in sixth overall. Miller came off the line in the top ten in the first moto and began to work his way up. Miller was the only racer tripling into the “Ten Commandments”, which helped him move into the number six spot by the fourth lap. Miller would hold fourth place all the way to the finish line.

Moto two was almost a repeat for Miller but with him finishing in seventh place to give him sixth overall and put him in the number nine spot in the points race. “We had a good season, but I think next season will be even better and I am looking forward to being able to put a Can-Am on top of the podium,” said Miller.

Both John Natalie and Cody Miller plan to take a week or so off now that the season is over, but plan to get back to training so they can be ready to take the 2010 season by storm
