Kawasaki's DATS ATV Racing Team WORCS Opener Race Report

#12 John Shafe joins the DATS / Kawasaki Racing's Team for 2009

Washington, UT (1/29/2009) - DATS Racing came into Rd #1 off a team win from two weeks prior at the 2nd Annual PIAA 8-hr Endurance race. DATS Racing’s Pro team consisting of Robbie Mitchell & newly signed John Shafe shaked the bugs out Sunday for a respectable 11th & 14th finishing positions. WORCS fielded 30 Pro entries and DATS Racing showed strength and proved that they will be a competing team this year in WORCS series. As always Mitchell had a decent start and was fast paced in the off-road where Shafe set good times in MX and looked very strong in the WORCS X section.

DATS will go back to Utah, make changes and look ahead for Adelanto as they visit California next month. Take care and we will see you in February.
