Chino, CA - (10/23/2007) -Newly Yoshimura
sponsored Polaris Outlaw rider Doug Eichner raced
to a dominating victory this weekend at the 9th
round of the WORCS Series in Pismo Beach, CA.
Eichner turned his renowned mastery of sand, and
his Polaris Outlaw 525's power to full advantage
in this grueling event.
"This was the first time I've had a fully
built Yoshimura engine in my Polaris Outlaw
525 and it really did the job," Eichner
said after the race. "Stock the bike is
awesome, this modified version makes a great
bike even better."
Although the conditions were tough with a lot
of blowing sand, Doug's new Yoshimura engine
and pipe combo helped launch him off the starting
line and into the holeshot. From there he pulled
away from the pack and by the second lap was
gone.

"We used a stock Yoshimura pipe in combination
with the modified motor and really had a good
package. My Polaris just flat "rips"
and handles really well too. I think you will
see many repeats of today's performance in the
future."
Yoshimura's VP of Marketing Brant Russell was
pleased with the result. "We expected no
less with this winning combination of rider,
bike and engine."
You can catch Doug in the final round of the
GNCC next weekend in Crawfordsville, IN.
