Chino, CA (9/29/2009) - Rockstar/Makita/Suzuki/Yoshimura's
Chris Borich wrapped up the GNCC ATV Championship
this weekend at the Yadkin Valley round of the
2009 series. This GNCC Championship Title was
the first for Borich, Suzuki and Yoshimura.
It was a dream season for Mr. Borich and his
trusty QuadRacer R450 with eight wins and nine
podiums. Although the series Championship has
now been decided, there are still two more races
                                  up for grabs.

Yoshimura's Vice President Brant Russell was
enthusiastic about the title victory. "Chris
has ridden great all year and it is particularly
gratifying to see it pay off at the end of the
day. On behalf of everyone at Yoshimura, we
are honored to have Chris fly the Yoshimura
                                  colors."
Russell also commented on the dominance of
Suzuki this season: "It's been a great
year for Suzuki ATV Racing. Dustin Wimmer took
                                  his Rockstar/Makita/Suzuki/Yoshimura machine
to the Championship in the AMA Pro ATV Motocross
Championship Series as well, making it a clean
sweep for the dominant QuadRacer R450. It is
obvious what the you need to win in ATV racing
these days: a Suzuki QuadRacer R450, a lot of
Rockstar to give you that great taste and energy,
Makita Tools to help keep everything together,
and a Yoshimura pipe to pump out the ponies.
                                  It's easy!"
Borich was smart and consistent all year in
capturing the number one plate from perennial
winner Bill Ballance. Hopefully Borich will
be running this number for a long time to come.
"It feels really great winning this title
and I hope to be able to repeat!" Chris
said after the event. "It seems like everything
came together this year and I couldn't be happier."
