Kyle Fix left the track after his roll over
and visited the medics with concerns over his
previously injured knee. Jesse Barnes also had
a quick visit with the medics after his second
moto with a bandaged up left hand.

able to score a spot on the podium with
third place overall |

earning him first place in Moto 1 and second
in Moto 2 placing him first overall |

With a 4-4 finish on the day Madl got to stand on the box
and hoist his third place overall trophy. Casey
Martin struggled a bit in the first moto but trailed
that with his impressive second moto win for his
overall second on the day. The big news and big
scream came from Aaron Meyer when he took the
microphone form announcer Rodney Tomblin, and
made his signature yell on the podium while celebrating
his first ever overall win, bringing the total
to 6 winners on the year for the Pro-Am Production
class.
At the end of the day, after the points got totaled,
Madl lost a little ground on the points chase
and let Casey Martin expand his lead by just a
bit. Aaron Meyer however got to close the gap
a bit in his third place spot as the two Moto-Xperts
riders sandwich Madl in the middle. Jeffrey Rastrelli
finished fifth for the weekend and kept a hold
of his fourth place position in points for the
2011 season, while Higgerson narrowed the points
a bit and stays in the top five for the points
chase.

PA at historic Steel City MX on Saturday May 21-
22, 2011.
