Nicholas Gennusa went 1-1 in the 4-Stroke
A to take the overall win |
In 4-Stroke A, Nicholas Gennusa had a great weekend.
Gennusa was looking strong in his heat race after
he led from start to finish for the win, but in
moto two he was even more impressive. Gennusa
was in fourth off the start and moved into second
after just two laps and was within striking position
behind leader, Travis Spader. Gennusa made the
pass on Spader in lap four and held Spader off
for one more lap for the moto two win, giving
him his first overall 4-Stroke A win of the season.
Gennusa also went 1-1 in the 450 A class for his
first win of the season there as well, which also
put him in the points lead of that class.
Although Travis Spader did not beat out Nicholas
Gennuas for the 4-Stroke A win, he was on top
of his game in the Vet 30+ class and took both
moto wins for his fourth straight overall win
of the season.

Jon Burke grabbed the holeshot in the Open
B class & took the overall win |
In the Open B class, Jon Burke was looking good
as he worked his way up from a top five start in
the first moto to take the win. In the second moto,
Burke was impressive as he shot off the line and
led from start to finish or the moto two win for
his first overall win of the season. “I had
a good first moto and then I got the holeshot in
the second moto and checked out. I’m really
glad to finally take a win. I‘ve had a lot
of second and third finishes so it feels really
good to win finally,” said Burke.
Burke also raced in the 4-Stroke B class and
took third in his first moto, but encountered
mechanical issues in moto two and would only finish
in ninth overall for the day.

Cole
Sepsi dominated the 90 Modified 12-15 class
winning the overall |
In the 90 Modified 12-15 class, Cole Sepsi smoked
the competition. “I felt really good out
there. I had two wins and it felt great to get
my third one in a row,” said Sepsi, who
led from start to finish in both motos and took
his third straight class win of the season.
Unfortunately, things didn’t go quite as
well for Sepsi in the Super Mini class. Sepsi
was looking good in the first moto as he charged
off the start in second and took over the lead
in lap two. Sepsi held his lead all the way to
the checkered flag for the moto one win, but in
moto two, things didn’t go according to
plan. “In the third lap, my motor started
failing me and it blew just a couple corners from
the end. I still had a good weekend and that’s
what matters. I want to thank our team and all
of our sponsors. I can’t thank them enough
and my family for all their help and support,”
said Sepsi.
