Fellow Yamaha racer and teammate, Thomas Brown,
also laid down two awesome motos. Brown scored
2-2 at the round. Brown had a decent start on
moto one, but had to work his way up from fifth
on lap one. He charged, turning the fastest lap
of the race on lap four, a quick 01:57.066. He
was able to make two smart passes on lap ten and
take over the second position. He remained there
                                until the checkers.

Brown charged his way past both Josh Creamer
and Joel Hetrick to take over the second
spot with just two laps to go in Moto One | “I was super pumped for moto one. I put my head
down, made smart passes and had a great time,”
said Brown. Moto two brought a great start for Brown. He
was in third on lap one and worked his way into
second on lap four. Brown put on a charge, and
although he couldn’t catch Wienen, he gapped himself
from the rest of the field to claim a solid second
place. Brown’s consistency has shown at each round
and he almost has second place locked up for the
                                season.

Brown took over the second early on in Moto
Tow, which is where he stayed to the checkered
flag for 2nd Overall on the Podium | “It was great to two 1-2 this round with Chad
(Wienen). I had an awesome time and am really
pumped for Loretta’s. I hope I can get my first
win. We have been working really hard and this
season has just gone awesome. I couldn’t be happier,”
said Brown. Hetrick Racing’s Joel Hetrick made his third
podium appearance this weekend after finishing
3-3. Hetrick was in third early on in moto one,
but lost a position to Creamer on lap ten. He
rallied and took back the third spot just one
lap later and remained there until the finish.

Joel Hetrick battled with Josh Creamer for
most of Moto One before making the pass
to secure the third spot | “I had to really stick it to get the pass on
Creamer. I bumped him pretty good, but no harm
done. The third place finish was a real confidence
boost for the day,” said Hetrick.

Joel Hetrick and John Natalie battled early
on in Moto 2 with Hetrick making the pass
to take over the third spot for a 3-3 day
                                      and third overall |  Hetrick didn’t have a great start in moto two;
he had to battle from seventh on lap one to fifth
on lap three. He continued to push and took over
third on lap six. He even clocked the fastest
lap of the moto on lap eight, an impressive 01:59.028.
His speed kept up as he remained his third, almost
                                unchallenged until the checkers.
