BCS Performance’s Josh Creamer ran strong in
both motos on his Can-am DS450, and he finished
the day with a 3-4 finish for fourth overall.
|
“The overall
result, I mean yeah it’s fourth place.
A lot of people aren’t going to know what
this fourth place is all about. This fourth
place was damn near a first place. I mean
it was just a crazy moto. You could have
covered us up with a blanket the entire
thing so, like I said it’s been a long
time since we’ve raced that close before
and I’m glad we all kept it clean and
I just wish I kept that third place position
and been up on the podium for the first
round,” said Josh Creamer.
|
Yamaha’s Thomas Brown rounded out the top five
finishing 5-5, which isn’t where he wants to be,
so he plans on working hard heading into Muddy
Creek as he goes for a podium finish.

JB Racing’s Jeffrey Rastrelli tied his career
best sixth place finish at Aonia Pass after holding
of Josh Upperman in Moto two.
|
“I came out
about fourth the first moto and then dropped
back to seventh and got settled in. I
didn’t really let those guys get away
from me but we had some rear shock issues
with fading and what not. The second moto,
I didn’t get the best start and went to
sixth place and held on from there and
ended up finishing in sixth overall on
the weekend,” said Jeffrey Rastrelli.
|
Josh Upperman finished in the seventh spot after
getting off to slow starts out of the gate in
both motos as he is normally one of the first
racers into turn one, so he plans on heading back
to Florida for some intense training before Muddy
Creek.

Joe Byrd wasn’t happy with his eight place overall
finish on the weekend, which he contributes to
him not getting in the training that he needed
before the first round. Byrd is looking to get
as many points as possible at Muddy Creek, and
having his race program back on track by round
three in May.

Joe Byrd
knew he wasn't ready for round one, but
he plans to be ready by round three
