Washington, GA - Youth ATV motocross racers were back in action at the start of the 2014 Mtn Dew AMA ATV Pro Motocross Championship season, which kicked off at Aonia Pass MX in Washington, Georgia, and several of the youth motocross classes had a full gate of racers ready to hit the dirt.

In the 90 Shifter (8-11) class there was 22 total racers, with 20 making it to the second moto on Sunday, and the #404 of Trevor Thatcher led the charge on his Cobra in Moto two.  Thatcher finished second in the first moto, but he was on a mission in moto two to take home the win at the opening round by coming out of the gate with the early lead, but Max Lindquist and Lance Walker both closed the gap on Thatcher by the checkered flag. Thatcher took the checkered for the overall win with a 2-1 finish.

Bryce Ford signed up for five classes, and we used to think racing three classes was a lot, but he made it work and took home two wins on the weekend by edging out Corey Bost in the 90 CVT (8-15) class with the second moto win.  Bryce Ford also took the win in the 90 Automatic Sr. (12-15) class followed by Jack Eaker and Corey Bost.
