Covil, however, was able to make up some ground and crossed the finish line in ninth. In Moto 2, Covil was able to bounce back from his less than desirable finish in Moto 1, to finish third and was enough to earn him fourth overall.

Sean Taylor ATV Motocross

Sean Taylor earned tied his best overall finish this season placing fifth overall in the Pro-Am Class on his Root River Racing backed Honda 450R

Rounding out the top five in the Pro-Am Class was Root River Racing’s Sean Taylor. After grabbing his best Pro career finish of eighth place overall on Saturday, the ITP tires backed racer was able to tie his season best finish at High Point Raceway by placing fourth in Moto 1 and ninth in Moto 2 to earn fifth overall. Taylor currently sits seventh in the Pro-Am Points heading to round 4.

Megan Manshak ATV MX

Megan Manshak took her third win of the season in the Women's Class

In the Women’s Class, Megan Manshak won her third consecutive overall at highpoint raceway. The Texas based racer has notched an impressive 5 out of 6 moto wins so far this season, and she currently holds a 15-point lead over second place and Defending Women’s Class Champion Katie Mette. Brandy Cottage rounded out the Women’s top three.

Root River Racing’s Sam Rowe took top honors in the 450 A Class. Rowe got a decent start in Moto 1 and would work his way up to second place before crossing the finish. In Moto 2, Rowe was able to earn the win by grabbing the Holeshot and leading the race from start to finish in 450 A Class. Alec Miller and Cody Gifford rounded out the 450 A Class Podium in second and third respectively.

Sam Rowe was on fire this weekend as he also redeemed himself in the Open A Class at round three after placing nineteenth overall at the previous round. Row came out swinging by grabbing the Holeshot to eventually earn the win in Moto 1. In the second Moto, Rowe once again had a great race finishing second, giving him the overall.
