2013 AMA ATV Motocross Rookie of the Year Tyler Hamrick claimed his best finish so far in 2014 by finishing ninth overall by finishing thirteenth and seventh in the Pro Motos.

Rounding out the top ten in the Mtn Dew ATV Pro Motocross Class was Josh Upperman. After finishing on the podium at round two, Josh Upperman looked like his was a strong contender for an overall podium finish once again after finishing fifth in Moto 1. Unfortunately, Upperman suffered a mechanical issue late info Moto 2 hindering his chances for a podium position.

The ATV Pro Motocross Racing Series will head to Sunset Ridge MX in Walnut, IL on May 31. This will be an interesting race as it is in ATV Motocross Defending Pro Champion Chad Wienen’s homestate. Will Hetrick be able to snag yet another win or will Chad Wienen prove to have the homestate advantage, or will John Natalie or yet another racer claim their rightful spot on top of the podium?
