Finishing in close second was Canadian racer Cynthia Prefontaine. The Yamaha mounted racer finished 3-4 earning second overall.

Wrapping up an early championship at Unadilla, Megan Manshack was able to run the red number one plate at Red Bud Motocross. Although Manshack didn’t earn the overall she did still managed a podium finish in third after going down in Moto 1.

Root River Racing’s Haedyn Mickelson earned the win in the Open B Class. Dominating both motos, Mickelson went 1-1 to earn the overall. Mickelson also earned the win in the 450B Class by also winning both motos.

Finishing second in the Open B Class was Cory Powers, who took the win at the round prior. Powers was consistent in both Motos finishing second in each.
Rounding out the Open B Class podium was Zachary Kaczmarzyk in third. This would be Kaczmarzyk’s third podium finish this season after winning Round 5 and Round 6.
Current Production A Class Points Leader Dylan Tremellen earned his fourth win of the season at Red Bud MX. The Root River Racing backed racer finished 1-1 to earn the overall.

Placing second in the Production A Class was Tyler Turner followed by Michigan’s own Jacob Geesman.
In the Senior 40+ Class, the highlight of the race was the return of Todd Macke who used to race a lot in the past. Macke now suffers from cerebral palsy, but he came out to race on a borrowed quad from Pro ATV Racer Cody Janssen. Although Todd Macke didn’t finish top ten, it was still nice to see him out on the track one again!

Only one more round remains in the 2014 Mtn Dew ATV Motocross Racing Series. The ninth and final round will take place in Hurricane Mills, TN the legendary Loretta Lynn’s Dude Ranch on August 9-10, 2014.
