Can-Am’s Jason and Derek Murray piloted their # 1917 Maverick to a seventh place finish after starting at the back of the pack in the number 33 spot. “By the end of the first lap we moved up to tenth but then our shocks blew so we couldn’t go quite as hard, but it wasn’t bad for a first race,” said Derek Murray.

The Murray brothers finished seventh at the BITD Parker 250 and they plan on being at the next round, the UTV World Champioinships, in a Can-Am Maverick Turbo.

“We had a good race and claimed our 32 consecutive finish, so we are happy about that. We are going to debut the new Maverick Turbo at the next round for the Desert Classic and we are really excited about that,” said Jason Murray.

The next round of the 2015 BITD series for the UTV classes will be the Polaris RZR UTV World Championship Desert Classic on February 20-22 in Laughlin, NV, where John Angal is going for his second consecutive Best in the Desert win.
