Justin Lambert Takes Fifth
Straight BITD UTV Win
::Continued::
In BITD Production 1000 class, Justin Lambert
remains unbeaten this season in his Polaris RZR.
His consistency is virtually unheard of in desert
racing, or any racing for that matter. He only
had one minor incident during the two-day event.
Matt Burroughs finished second overall and second
in Production.

Sparks'
Justin Lambert charging through the silt
on the way to victory at the BITD Vegas
to Reno |
“We have a really dedicated prep and during race
days we were really patient,” said Lambert. “Vegas
to Reno is a long race and the first 20 miles
are ridiculously dusty and difficult to get through.
The transfer section being shut down was interesting.
It was almost like some kind of gumball rally
at one point with all the trucks going from pit
to pit.

Polaris'
Justin Lambert continues to be a dominate
force in the Polaris RZR XP 1000 4 at the
BITD Series |
“Our biggest challenge was saving the car,” added
Lambert. “It was really in my hands to either
make it or break it. There was one point when
I came around one corner and hit a rock the size
of a bowling ball that exploded a tire. That was
our only problem, though. We got all the bugs
worked out last year. This race last year really
started our winning streak. We’ve won seven out
of the last eight BITD races.”
Matt Burroughs earned his second consecutive
runner-up finish in BITD. He competes in the short
wheelbase Polaris RZR.

STI
/ Monster Energy's Matt Burroughs secured
a 2nd place finish in the UTV 1000 Production
class |
“We had two absolutely flawless days,” said Burroughs.
“We had no flats, not broken axles; nothing. The
silt was really rough on day one, but my Polaris
RZR powered through it with no problems. It was
a really good race. We’ve been working really
hard for two years and things are finally really
coming together.”
