Columbus, OH - The 2009 Extreme
Dirt Track Nationals awards banquet took place at
the all famous Fort Rapids Water Park Resort in
Columbus, Ohio. The indoor water park allows for
families and friends to relax and spend time together
in celebration of the year’s success. In total
there were ~150 in attendance with 128 awards presented.
Kevin Bailey returned as the Master of Ceremonies
for the evening.
Promoter Group Chairman Roy Reed gave the opening
remarks and presented awards to Cynthia and Neil
Pritchard, Kevin Bailey, Carl Reynolds, Doug Morris
for their support thru the year. Roy later announced
that he was resigning as chairmen.
All eyes were on Quinn Michael as he took the
stage and announced the formation of a new board
for 2010. The board members include Tom Coburn
(chairman), Nick Camilli, Daniel Coltrane, Cynthia
and Neil Pritchard, Jeff Roberts, and Quinn Michael.
Supporting the new board will be long time EDT
enthusiasts Carl Reynolds and Doug Morris.

“We have a real good group of people working
together for next year. I am excited about what
the future holds”, says Coburn.
On with the awards ceremony. There were several
familiar faces that seemed to reappear on stage
as the night progressed. Leevi Seay from Thomasville,
NC was crowned champion in the 50 Stock Limited
and 50 Production Auto class. Daniel Bennett took
top honors in the 90 modified and Super Mini class.
Daniel Bennett also received the ‘Youth
Rider of the Year’ award.

Last year’s ‘Amateur Rider of the
Year’ winner Taylor Foster walked away with
the 4 Stroke B and 16-24B class championships.
Paula Shank would take the crown as the 2009 ‘Amateur
Rider of the Year’. She ended the year with
championships in the Women’s and Production
B class. She will prove to be a fierce competitor
in the A class in 2010.
