Racing's #708 Harold Goodman just missed
a podium finish in the Pro Main with a 4th
place finish after charging up from a 15th
place start |
Veteran EDT racer, Harold Goodman made his fulltime
return to the series and did well, but was not able
to get the starting position he wanted as he also
started out on the second row after issues in his
heat race. Goodman followed Creech into the option
lane off the start and moved into sixth place. Goodman
was also able to take advantage of the Bures Riley
incident and moved into fourth place, where he would
finish.
“I’m really happy to be returning
to the EDT series. It’s a great series with
great people and I am really looking forward to
being back this season,” stated Goodman.
Mike Mahan held on to round out the top five,
while Frank Batista would finish in sixth Kasey
McKibben claimed seventh in the Pro main with
Jordan Rummage finishing in eighth. North Carolina
resident, Charlie Calloway, ended his day with
a ninth place finish while Damon Brown rounded
out the top ten in the Pro class.

MAIN |
The Pro-am Production class, formerly known as
the Pro Lites class, saw plenty of action as well
with Michael Coburn grabbing the holeshot after
three red flags had been thrown on the start.
|
Sparks Racing's
#038 Michael Coburn once again grabbed
the Pro-Am Production Holeshot, but this
time he had #708 Harold Goodman on his
rear bumper
|
Coburn led from start to finish despite a solid
effort from Harold Goodman, who was pressuring
him for the lead. Coburn kept his cool and held
off Goodman to take the Pro-am Production win,
with Goodman taking a close second.

|
Lap after
lap, Coburn was able to hold off Goodman
to claim the Pro-Am Win
|
Local
racer, #21 Seth Padon, claimed the final
spot on the podium
|
Local racer, Seph Padon, made his Pro-am debut
and did well as he held off Brad Riley and Brian
Ace to finish in the number three spot on the
Pro-am Production podium.
