In the Women’s class, multi-time champion,
#202 Traci Cecco will be back on her Yamaha
for 2012 as she tries to defend her championship.
Cecco took an impressive eight out of thirteen
wins last season and proved it will be tough
to dethrone her.

#206 Angel Atwell finished second to Cecco
in points in 2011 and has been training hard
in the off season to bring her program to
the next level and hopefully take home a championship.
“I have been training down in Florida
and trying to get used to the rough sand.
I feel good and I am prepared for round one!”
said Atwell.
2010 Champ, #210 Kristen Atwell will be missing
from the line-up for 2012 as she takes time
off from racing for college. Also, #212 Lexie
Coulter will return for 2012 as a privateer
with the departure of Warnert Racing, and
the word on the street is she will be racing
at select rounds this year.

Reigning U2 class champion, #203 Cliff Beasley
will be back with the Can-Am/UXC Racing team
for 2012 aboard the new 2012 Renegade. Beasley’s
impressive record makes him one of the toughest
competitors in the morning classes and his
competition will have to be in top form if
they plan to take him down in 2012.

Can-Am’s #204 Bryan Buckhannon and
#205 Michael Swift battled it out until the
bitter end in the highly competitive 4x4 Open
class, with Buckhannon edging out Swift for
the championship. Buckhannon will be back
on Can-Am for the 2012 season as a part of
the manufacturer’s X-team and doing
his best to keep the title.
Can-Am/UXC Racing’s Michael Swift will
be on the new 2012 Outlander for this year
and the five-time champion is hoping to take
back the 4x4 Open title. “I’m
hoping for a good season. We have been doing
a lot of R&D with the new Outlander and
I think we have a good program in place. I
plan to go out there and give it everything
I have so we will see what happens,”
said Swift

GNCC 4x4 Lites Champion #207 Kevin Trantham |
Last season, #207 Kevin Trantham was almost
unstoppable in the 4x4 Lites class, and he
will be returning to defend his championship
with Can-Am’s X-team and Trantham Motorsports.
Trantham won the first eight consecutive rounds
and took a total of ten class wins. With a
record like that, a perfect season could be
in order for him is Lady Luck is on his side.
The 2012 GNCC racing action will kick off
on Sunday March 11th at River Ranch Florida
and head to Washington, GA for round two the
following weekend on Saturday, March 17th.
