The
Snowshoe GNCC has some of the best accommodations
of any GNCC with quality restaurants,
hotels, and shuttle buses, which makes
it great for spectators, but it is also
one of the toughest races of the year
for those willing to attempt to conquer
the mountain |
Mild weather was on hand for this round and
the track was typical for Snowshoe. Many racers
even hung around for the Craig Morgan concert
that was held at 7:00 pm on Saturday and was
a big success.

The starting order for this race went according
to points standings with the top five in each
class in the front row and the rest of the
class following accordingly by row. The front
row start enabled Chris Borich to get a solid
grip on a top three spot right off the start.
Borich moved into second place by the end
of the first lap and fell back to third briefly
in lap three after hitting a rock.
