Rounding out the GNCC Racing Pro 4x4 Podium was Bryan Buckhannon. The Can-Am Renegade mounted racer ran in third place for most of the race only falling back to fourth on the second lap. Buckhannon then made up sometime and moved into second place before sliding back into third place before the finish.

“I was about third place in the first couple laps, I tried ride smart all day and conserve my bike. It was good clean racing and all the action happened on the last lap. I took myself up to second place right behind Robert Smith. I unfortunately took a bad line and got stopped behind a lapped rider. By the time I got back going I was set back about eight second. I felt like we were fast enough to take the win. We are going to head into the next round and try to win it” said Bryan Buckhannon

Angel Knox grabbed the holeshot in the WXC Class

Angel Knox earned her second win of the season after starting the 2014 GNCC Racing season off with a win at the series opener in Florida. Kylie Ahart took her first podium of the season at Steele Creek GNCC in second followed by WXC points leader Kara Merritt in third.

In the School Boy A (13-15) Class, Cody Collier earned his third consecutive podium finish and his second win of the season at round three. Collier led all three laps to win by a near five minutes ahead of second place. Rounding out the School Boy Class was Drew Moore in second and Seth Wilson in third.

Dave Simmons was back at it at GNCC round three clinching his second consecutive win this season in the Super Senior Class. Simmons lead all three laps and finished with an impressive twenty-minute lead!

Kenny Rich also took an impressive win in the Masters 50+ Class to securing his third consecutive win this season. Rich also finished twelfth overall at the Steele Creek GNCC.
