Tying her best finish this season, Pennsylvania native Alicia McCormick finished third in the WXC Class. Working her back up from the middle of the pack, McCormick came through scoring at the end of lap one in seventh. With each passing lap, McCormick made up ground to take over third place by lap three which she held until the finish.

Former Women’s Class Multi-Time Champion Traci Pickens made her first racing appearance this season after giving birth to her son. Traci got off to a great start was third by the end of lap one. By the end of the harsh four-lap race Traci fell back to sixth where she would finish for the day.

Also making her first appearance in the GNCC Racing Series this year was 2014 ATV Motocross Women’s Champion Megan Manshack. Although Manshack only completed one lap, we are sure she will have better luck at the next round and we are glad to she here competing in yet another racing series.

Young and upcoming racer Cody Collier has been one of the top contenders to watch in 2014. Collier came into Round 11 an impressive seven wins under his belt in the School Boy 13-15 Class looking for yet another win. Claiming his eighth win of the season Cody Collier finished fifth overall and extended his points lead to 14 points over second place of Hunter Hunter.

John Glauda made the trip north from North Carolina to race in the Mountaineer Ridge GNCC. Glauda made his trip well worth it as he scored his best finish of the season in second place.
Bringing home third place on his Yamaha, Cullen Dennis tied his season best finish. Rounding the first lap in third, Dennis battled for the final spot on the School Boy 13-15 Class podium all race. Dennis dropped back several spots halfway through the race, however he was able to charge ahead back into third before the finish.
The GNCC Racing Series will head to the Midwest on October 4, 2014 for the Powerline Park GNCC. Round 12 will be held in St. Clairsville, OH and is one of the many fan favorites in the GNCC Racing Series that features many deep mud holes, tight woods, and hill climbs. GNCC SxS Racing will also return at the Powerline Park GNCC after taking a long summer break.
