Angel Knox Takes Fifth GNCC
Racing WXC Win
::Continued::
WXC Champion Angel Knox, summed up the conditions
in one word, “dusty.” Of her fifth season win,
Knox went on to say, “We’ve had a rough couple
of rounds, I was really sick with vertigo and
had a hard time shaking it. We are just charging
hard, trying to see what we could do.” with her
ITP Honda, Angel said, “I love my bike, MEK Racing
rebuilt everything and the combination was just
awesome. This bike just ripped. I wasn’t ready
for it and actually wore myself out in the first
two laps and had to settle myself down for the
remainder.” Not overly concerned with the overall
points standings, Knox went on to say that she
is out to have some fun and race without the usual
pressure.

Angel Knox

now has her tied for third in the WXC

The ever improving Tori Fryer would collect second

I had a nice clean run. The Texeira A-arms and
Axis shocks had the bike handling great. The hard
work has paid off and now we are second in points
overall.”

The unique and spectacular setting of the Amsoil
Snowshoe round of the series is up next on Father’s
Day weekend, June 20-21st in the mountains of
West Virginia. A favorite among racers and spectators
alike, it has the potential to lift you up or
leave you at the bottom, with little in between
before the two month long GNCC Racing summer break.
