Jarrod McClure tops the podium at the Snowshoe GNCC for his first ever GNCC Racing Pro ATV Win

After some rain showers at the start of the grand prix style start, the sun came out for the first half of the race, but then a severe storm movedin the final half of the race, which forced the race to be cut short by one lap.

DWT’s Jarrod McClure grabbed the holeshot on the front row of GP Style start on the pavement with rows of five racers leaving the line one after another. McClure had the lead for a couple of laps before clipping a tree. “I clipped a tree and rolled it, but I got going right away,” said McClure.

McClure tucked in behind McGill for a couple of laps before Fowler took over the lead in the final lap, but McClure picked the perfect line through the final mud hole and regained the lead, which he held to the checkered flag with Fowler in chase for his first ever GNCC Pro ATV Win.

“The race went pretty good overall. I had the lead there early on and had a little get off, but it was nothing crazy and got going again right behind Adam for a while. The DWT tires worked awesome, and I didn’t get stuck anywhere. Walker got around us, and we hit the mud hole down here and I came out ahead of everybody. I am super excited to be up here,” said McClure on his win.

Jarrod McClure celebrated the win with his Dad, which surely made for a Father's Day weekend to remember for the McClure family

For McClure it was his fourth podium finish of the 2015 GNCC Racing season, which currently has him third in points.
