                              - Cody Miller came into the 2016 AMSOIL GNCC Racing
Presented by Maxxis Series a rookie and finished
it a champion. A testament to the newly crowned
XC1 Pro UTV Champion was a hard fought win in the
final race of the season at Ironman Raceway. Miller’s
brother Hunter stepped up to the XC1 Class and finished
second, ahead of Tim Farr, Mouse Pratt and Kyle
                              Hittle.

 | Due a dominating and consistent run this season,
which included two other victories and a podium
in six rounds, Cody Miller merely needed to finish
to clinch the championship. Uniformed observers
figured he’d just run a conservative pace, but
they don’t understand Miller’s competitive spirit.
He battled his way past both Farr and Kyle Chaney
to net the victory in unseasonably summer-like
                                conditions.

first lap | “I only had to finish 15th or better to wrap
up this championship, but I just don’t have that
in me,” said Miller, who also won his third consecutive
4X4 Pro ATV race here. “This whole weekend all
I could think about was winning this race. We
went out there and battled really hard. I didn’t
come into to first and stay there. It was a hard-fought
race and was probably reckless of me to go out
there and battle for the win with the championship
                                on the line.”

to clinch the GNCC XC1 UTV Championship | “It’s a feeling like no other to come to these
races and win,” added Miller. “It’s like a drug
and I can’t get enough of it. It’s an honor. I
can’t say enough about Can-Am for letting us come
out here and race and Houser Racing for helping
                                us to develop these cars.”
