Defending MAXC Pro ATV Champion Taylor Kiser earned his third win of the season

“We got off to a decent start but I blew the third corner and Kevin (Cunningham) got around me. I just fell in behind him and he was running a pretty good pace and we just hung in there. I noticed that the line round the Pro line was a little shorter so on lap two I used that to capitalize and it was just smooth sailing from there,” said Taylor Kiser

Kevin Cunningham lead nearly the entire first lap charging ahead to try and put some time between him and Taylor Kiser.  However on lap two, Cunningham lost the lead to Kiser but did not loose site of him. At the end of lap two, Cunningham was right on Kiser’s rear grabbar just a half a second behind him. Even after tipping over, Cunningham never lost motivation to regain the lead, but the Honda mounted racer ran out of time and finished eight seconds behind Kiser placing second.

“We got off to a decent start. I think it was the third or fourth corner, he (Taylor Kiser) over shot the corner a little wide. So we got to lead the whole first lap and we were going pretty good. We came through on the first lap and we hit the pro hill and I couldn’t tell if the alternate line was faster and I went ahead and hit it the second lap. That is when Taylor got me because he took the alternate line. We ran behind Taylor for a while then I went to cut a little shorter line after we came down over the rock jump and then I hit a little stump and tipped me over. It was just a bad day but it was good to salvage a second place up here and we had fun,” explained Kevin Cunningham
