Lebanon, MO (5/1/2014) - Midwest Extreme Dirt Track Racing Series hosted round 2 this past weekend in Lebanon, MO at the Lebanon Midway Speedway. The weekend forecast called for sunny skies with mid 80 temperatures, but it didn’t happen as the rain started in early into the day and rained lightly until about 1. Luckily, the sun began to shine late into the day, which put the MWEDT crew in a position to get track ready to be on time for practice and heats for the 140 entries. The event ran very smooth and the races were over before 10 PM.
The Pro main event featured a full front row. The track with its 60ft wide straights created evenly matched starting spots that funneled into first corner for the Maul Tech ATV Holeshot awards.
Garrett Keister was second off the start as H&H Extreme ATV’s Colt Loshbaugh captured the Maul Tech ATV Holeshot award. The Keister / H&H / CV4 / DASA power plant put Keister in the spot to push his Rath / Fly / LSR / Cylinder Works Honda 450r into the lead quickly and held the position for the 15 laps.
