Lempster, NH - Despite a valiant
effort from Michael Pilotte and Joe Haavisto,
Kawasaki Monster Energy’s Josh Creamer edged
out the competition to take the Open Pro and Open
Pro-am wins at round ten of the New England ATV
Motocross series.
Beautiful weather was on tap for the day’s
races where racers were given the extra challenge
of running the track in the reverse direction.
In addition, the Open Pro class faced an extra
challenge of a change in format for the first
moto. Instead of racing the usual eight laps,
this time, the first moto was run for 20 minutes,
plus one lap, which seemed to benefit some racers,
while hindering others.

It didn’t seem to matter which direction,
or how long things were run, to Josh Creamer.
“I got last gate pick so I was basically
riding through the weeds off the start and was
way in the back, but I worked into first by
the second lap and then I just put it in cruise
control and pulled away,” said Creamer.
For the rest of the pack, it was Myles Santaniello
who was riding in a comfortable second, leaving
Aaron Meyer and Jason Connell to battle it out
for third, while Mike Pilotte, Joe Haavisto,
and Nate Morello were all battling for fourth.
As Creamer continued to pull away, the real
racing action would intensify as battles raged
on and positions were swapped many times over
the first half of the race.

pick, but he was able to work his way

Jason Connell, #111 Nate Morello, #75

At the half way point, Myles Santaniello would
suffer mechanical issues, taking him out of
second place. Meyer and Connell’s battle
for third was now a battle for second, but neither
of them would take the position for long as
they would both encounter mechanical issues
as well and drop back.
As racers reached the checkered flag, Josh
Creamer would take the moto one win with Mike
Pilotte finishing in second and Joe Haavisto
taking the number three spot. KTM’s Nate
Morello would hang on to finish in fourth and
Aaron Meyer would round out the top five.
