Roll Design's #549 Beau Baron was launching
the big triple on Sunday, but it wasn't
enough to stop Nelson from claiming his
6th overall win with Baron finishing in
the 2nd spot |
Beau Baron gave Nelson a good fight in the first
moto, but was unable to make a move for the lead
and settled in for second in the first moto. Baron
would grab the holeshot in moto two, but a mistake
sent him wide in the second turn and allowed Nelson
to get under him and take over the lead, leaving
Baron to find himself in second once again. Baron’s
2-2 finishes gave him second overall for the day
on the pro podium.
“I’m pretty happy with how things
went this weekend. We’ve only been doing
motocross for two years now and I’ve been
improving, I just wish I was able to pick up even
more speed faster than what I have, but now it’s
a lot of little things here and there that are
making the most difference for me and I’m
hoping to consistently keep improving,”
said Baron.

held off a charging Josh Row, to take a set of third
place finishes, giving him the final spot on the
pro podium, while Josh Row’s 4-4 finishes
put him in fourth overall for the day.
Justin Jones would round out the top five, while
Ethan thatcher would take sixth, followed by Jason
Fife in seventh, Even Spooner in eighth and Colt
Brinkerhoff in ninth.
In the Pro-am class, Garrin Fuller walked away
with the overall win on both Saturday and Sunday
and is currently in the Pro-am points lead. Fuller
has won all but one round so far this season and
looks to be on his way to the Pro-am championship
if he can keep his winning streak going at round
seven.
