"The jumps were awesome, the tires, rocks, and whoops kept it technical, but fun, " said Pro-Am Winner, Joe Hines.  Despite being the first time RWP has ever hosted a Side X Side race, attendance was great, and is expected to more than double for the RWP Spring Break event in 2014.

                                      | 2,000 Horsepower custom trucks took to the mud drag strip for their chance at $10,000 |

Another thrill on Saturday was the Ark-La-Tex Pro Mud Racing event.  Attendees lined the fences to watch 2,000+HP vehicles break 90 MPH down a 200 foot long mud straightway with $10,000 up for grabs.
Unfortunately, heavy rain moved in immediately following the Mud Racing, which cancelled the evening events and concert, but it made for a mud lovers paradise. Despite the unfortunate weather, the family-like mentality of RWP's attendants surfaced, with friends and strangers alike flocking to the mud pits together for a party in the rain, also enjoying the Saturday night bonfire after the rain cleared the area.

the rain Saturday evening, it didn't

Sunday came, and it was time to pack up and head out.  It was great to see how nice the people that attend this event are; towing out those stuck in the mud from the previous night's rain, and we found ourselves even stuck in the mud with our rental car, but it didn’t take long for someone to offer to tow us out, which is just one example of the kindness we witnessed at the RWP event.
All in all, we had a blast, and can't wait until RWP Spring Break '14!  It's got something for everyone, and is only getting started.  You can check them out on Facebook and at www.RednecksWithPaychecks.com
