RMURA Series ATV Race Report
::Continued::
Austin Turner made the early pass on Brian Barsh
who grabbed the holeshot and actually led Mitchell
for a lap and half before falling back. He was
glad to see the growth spurt for ATV racers at
the RMURA series this season.

“I got a start on Robbie Mitchell,” exclaimed
Turner. “I led Robbie for a lap and a half, but
I could not hold him off. Then Brian got past
me. I ended up third, but I had a great race and
I had fun. This series is definitely growing.
Every race, it gets bigger. A guy like Robbie
Mitchell coming out is sure to help, too.”
Cole Racine likes the blend of motocross, big
hills, jumps and fast cornering here. “This track
is really cool,” said Racine. “I’m more into the
jumps. I got a good start and I rode my own race.
Austin was too far ahead, but it was a lot of
fun.”

It was a famliy affair for the Racine family,
with Ciandra Racine taking first in the C Class
and Craig Racine finished second in the B Class.
Our thoughts are with the ever-competitive Megan
Heil. Heil, who ran strong all season, sustained
a concussion in a crash on the first lap of the
A Class race, and we look forward to seeing her
back in action in 2017 at the RMURA Series.
