::Continued::
Dana Creech qualified in second place, putting
him on the front line for the start, which was
a definite advantage. Creech was in second place
off the start behind Kyle Hart and was pressuring
for the lead almost immediately. Creech waited
patiently and made his move after going over the
tire obstacle, he railed the inside line and made
the pass on Hart to take over the lead, but soon
after Cody Gorsegne wrecked, which forced a red
flag, and everyone lined back up in single row
line for a restart for the final laps of the race.

Coldcock Whiskey’s Dana Creech was able to hold
off Hart on the restart, and then Hart got hung
up on the tires , which allowed Creech to run
away from the pack as he went on to take the win
with 3.44 seconds to spare. “I’ve been searching
for a win all year and we finally put it together,”
said Creech.

BC Vaught got off to a mid-pack start, but he
worked his way up into the top five before the
restart, and he was able to make the pass over
the tires into the second spot behind Creech soon
after the restart when Hart got hung up, and he
held it to the checkered flag. “We went out there
and drove at about 99% to make sure our machine
held together. It was pretty close competition
out there and it was a lot of fun. Terracross
is a great event,” said Vaught.

The restart made all the difference for Mitch
Guthrie, Jr. who claimed the final spot on the
podium. Guthrie Jr, made the main event by racing
the LCQ, and all the LCQ racers started a few
seconds behind the lead group, but Guthrie Jr
grabbed the holeshot in his group as he chased
after the top ten and quickly began working his
way through the pack.
