Rath grabbed the Holeshot in day two’s main, which would allow him to pull away from the rest of the pack.

Remaining unchallenged, Rath was able to secure a win after finishing in the third spot in the first main event. He was also able to have a little family fun racing the event alongside his son Jerrod Weckman.

“I just rode my own race, I didn’t really know what was going on behind me. I was just doing my own thing, trying to stay out of trouble and not wreck anything. It paid off and I won, it was awesome,” said Rath.

Zak Zakowski placed second in both Rounds at Haydays

Zac Zakowski also had a good weekend doing well in both SxS and quad events. Zakowski put in a great effort in the first main of the weekend but ran out of time and had to settle for second. Day two, Zakowski also finished in second place after a small incident with Beckman. Despite not being able to capture the win, he enjoyed his time this weekend racing the two events.

“I love the Terracross track. I used to do this sort of stuff when I was fourteen or fifteen when I started riding so it’s nice to come back out here and do something that I know I am good at and confident in doing,” said Zakowski after the race.
