2- Buffalo Bill's - Pro ATV Race Report

MCR/Maxxis Tire’s Beau Baron also made
a hard charge from further back in the pack to
claim a respectable fourth place finish. Baron
pushed hard and battled back and forth with both
Josh Frederick and Dustin Nelson before landing
in the number four spot.

Yamaha’s Josh Row came on strong and worked
his way through traffic to round out the top five
while teammate Dustin Nelson was running in the
top three, but encountered issues late in the
race and would fall back for a sixth place finish.

Monster
Energy's David Haagsma had a great battle
with Josh Frederick for several laps before
dropping back to 7th |
MCR/Maxxis Tire’s David Haagsma put in
a solid and consistent effort to claim a seventh
place finish.

National
Guard's Jarrod McClure got off to a great
start, but a sand clogged airfilter slowed
him down in the final laps for an 8th place
finish |
Yokely Racing’s Jarrod McClure, almost grabbed
the holeshot, but was pinched out on the first turn.
McClure was running a solid race, but ran into some
issues later on that would set him back to finish
in eighth place.
MCR/Maxxis Tire’s Mike Cafro ran a solid
race to claim the number nine spot while Kawasaki
mounted Robbie Mitchell hung on to round out the
top ten. Yamaha’s Justin Waters claimed
an eleventh place finish with South African racer
Dirkie Baard right behind him in a close twelfth.
Johnny Shafe hung on in thirteenth followed by
Kyle Grosse, Tim Shelman and Darrell Patton.
Colt Brinkerhoff was able to complete four laps
before encountering issues and Dustin Clark managed
to get in three laps before pulling off. Can-Am
Motoworks' Dillon Zimmerman tried his best, but
after separating his shoulder in a crash on Wednesday
during practice, he was unable to race and pulled
off shortly into the first lap.
Round number three of the 2011 WORCS series will
head to the sunny shores of Lake Havasu, AZ, on
March 18th through 21st where the battle will
be on to see who will take the top spot on the
podium.
