/ SxS Race Report
::Continued::
Mitch Guthrie Jr. added a victory in the Unlimited
Class to his fourth-place finish in Pro. Mark
Holz was second, followed by Jeffrey Obering.
“I’m pretty stoked. I’ve had
some bad luck at a few other races so this is
a huge confidence boost,” said Guthrie.

Mitch
Guthrie Jr. grabbed the win in the SxS Unlimited
Class |
Holz was a last-minute entry in the Unlimited
race: “We weren’t planning to race
in Unlimited, but we got a flat in the Pro race
and decided to try it. We got hung up in some
traffic early in the race, but were managed to
get second in the late part of the race. This
is always a fun race. It was a little dusty, but
it was pretty fun.”

Mark
Holz finished second in the SxS Unlimited
class driving RJ Anderson's Polaris RZR
with RJ racing in the LOORS this weekend
& he claimed wins in both the Pro2 &
Pro Lites class |
With his victory here, Mike Gardner clinched
the 1000 Class Championship. “I came out
third and had a good battle through the trees
with first and second,” said Gardner. “I
took the position. Sometimes it’s a matter
of luck. You just hold on and hope you don’t
hit a tree. It’s unbelievable to wrap up
the championship this early. This is our second
year doing this. We put so much into this. It’s
just a huge weight off of our shoulders to clinch
it here. I’m definitely moving up to Pro
next year.”

Mike
Gardner won the SxS 1000 class at Round

in his Polaris RZR XP 1000 |
Jacob Shaw flipped and won in the 600 SS Class:
“We had a good start, took off, and we were
up front. I flipped over during the race, got
out, got it righted and came back for the win.
This is awesome. The class started off as a fun
class and it’s an adrenaline rush because
you can only go so fast.”

Jacob
Shaw claimed the SS 600 class win with the
