WORCS Racing SxS UTV Race Report - Round 9
::Continued::

In the Women’s race, Jennifer Broughton won the event, ahead of Jamie Piplic. Danielle Weatherly finished fifth and clinched the championship. Broughton took the lead from Piplic on the second lap after Piplic won the holeshot. They both avoided a major tangle in the first turn to come home on the podium

“I lined up way outside and that turned out to be a really good line,” explained Broughton. “I was right behind Jamie Piplic. She went high in one of the turns. I held my own line from there and it turned out well. This is the second win this year. I was doing well in the last race and that didn’t work out. I was happy to finish this year with a win.”

This year marked Piplic’s first year of competition and her second-place finish helped her finish second in points. “I had the holeshot and avoided an adventure in the first turn,” said Piplic. “I managed to pull off a second place in the championship. This is exciting to finish this well in my first year racing…anything.”

Weatherly raced her pit car with co-pilot Shelby Anderson. Her consistency paid off with the title. “I knew I needed seventh or better to win the championship, so I was just taking it easy,” said Weatheryly. “I am so excited to win this championship. We put so much work into this year.”

Chase Warren leaves Primm with two championships: 1000 Stock and Production 600. “We won all but three 1000 Stock races and we won all but one of the Production 600 races,” said Warren. “The races we didn’t win, we broke.”
