CST’s Beau Baron, who also won the Pro ATV race,
earned his second podium of the season with his
third-place effort after starting dead last.

Racing's Beau Baron podium finish will give
him a boost in the championship points chase |
“With a few laps to go, I got into second and
I was gaining on the leader, but there just wasn’t
enough time,” said Baron. “I knew I had to be
calm. Because if you get riled up here, you’ll
get stuck on a log or one of these tunnels so
easy and people were doing it all over the place.
I just wanted to take my time and not have too
many issues. A lot of people had DNFs here, so
I’m pretty happy with third. I was really bummed
after the last race. I was sitting fifth in points
and now I’m likely in the top three so that’s
good. This is only Round 3 and we have a lot to
go. We’re hoping we can pull off some wins and
get it done.”
HOLZ Racing’s Ryan Holz continued to build momentum
in the WORCS Championship and finished fourth
after dealing with traffic issues.

Racing's Ryan Holz finished in the Pro SxS
fourth spot |
“We made some passes early on, but got stuck
in traffic,” said Holz. “Overall, the event was
really fun. It was kind of cool to be inside with
lots of spectators. The track got really rough
at the end, so I had to be really on point to
get around. I had a couple of bad runs at the
beginning of the season, but I’m building momentum
which I hope to carry through to Lake Havasu.”
Tire Block’s Keith Johnson nearly recorded his
first podium of the season after battling with
Holz for all 30 minutes of the event. He finished
just one second behind Holz to round out the top
five.

Motorsports' Keith Johnson rounded out the
Pro SxS top five |
“So close…oh well,” said Johnson. “I guess you
can’t win them all. I was running third overall,
but I got tangled up with a lapper on the last
lap. Ryan Holz was on my back bumper the whole
race. In the first round I had a DNF. In the second
round I was sixth. Now my next step is onto the
box.”
Super ATV’s Ray Bulloch was two for two in Pro
Stock and Pro Unlimited as he won both races.
In the Pro Stock race he came out atop a race-long
battle with Codey Rowley to net the victory. Rowley
finished second, followed by Nick Thompson.

HCR's
Ray Bulloch secured his second win of the
season in the WORCS Pro Stock SxS Class |
“We pulled off the double win today and that’s
just awesome,” said Bulloch. “I barely got past
Rowley when he tipped up on two wheels and he
battled me from there. I think the experience
I got in the last two races definitely paid off
today. I tried to hold my pace. I couldn’t be
happier and I want more of it!”
Walker Evans Racing’s Codey Rowley was happy
with his third consecutive podium, which helps
him pad his points lead.

Racing's Codey Rowley launched the Arena
double every lap & secured the 2nd spot
on the podium to maintain his points lead |
“I’m stoked to come out of this race with all
four wheels on my car,” said Rowley. “Ray was
on it today and I wasn’t going to push his pace.
I came in here just trying to get through this
weekend and hang onto the points lead. I’m going
to keep taking it race by race and try to finish
on the podium.”
