Toutle, Washingon - The Rocky Mountain
ATV/Motoworks Series made its way up north to Toutle,
Washington. With trees, logs, and the elevation atmosphere
WORCS was set to change the pace for 2007 at the Riverdale
Raceway.
Jeremy Schell grabbed the ATVriders.com $100 Holeshot
followed by Josh Frederick, Levi Marana, and Brandon
Brown. Doug Eichner coming off his first win of the
season at Round 5 was off to a poor start, so he would
have his work cut out for him with Schell and Frederick
out front.

Sparks
Racing's Jeremy Schell grabs the ATVriders.com
Holeshot Award, but teammate, Josh Frederick took
over the lead by the end of the first lap |
Epic
Racing's Josh Frederick takes over the lead, but
was dealing with tire obstacles of his own with
a flat tire in the third lap, which set the stage
for an intense battle for the lead with Jeremy
Schell |
The battle for the lead was intense between Epic Racing
Teammates, Jeremy Schell and Josh Frederick as the pair
swapped the lead back and forth several times in the
first half of the race. Frederick took over the lead
and recorded the fastest laptime of the race in lap
2, but in lap 3, his blistering speed was slowed when
he received a flat tire and was forced to pit, which
allowed Schell to regain control of the lead. Frederick
would put his head down and regain the lead from Schell
two laps later. Meanwhile, Doug Eichner put the hammer
down on his Polaris Outlaw and moved back up into third
followed by Levi Marana and Robbie Mitchell.

win of the season with Schell finishing 30 seconds back
in 2nd Place followed by Doug Eichner rounding out the
Podium.

Washington's
Tim Shelman made an incredible charge from back
to a 7th place finish and recorded the fastest
last laptime of any rider on the last lap as his
laptimes were faster with each passing lap |
Yamaha's
Justin Waters rebounded from a rough start to
charge his way into the ProAm class lead and pulled
over a minute lead on 2nd place finisher Dillon
Zimmerman |
The Pro Am race was exciting as well- 3rd place was
Drew Lattimar, 2nd going to Dillion Zimmermon, and Justin
Waters came from a dead last tangle up all the way up
front to claim the win in a dramatic come from behind
victory.
WORCS will take its annual summer break and Josh frederick
will leave halfway with the points lead for the first
time in his career. Josh Frederick is on a roll folks
and it only seems to get better. Will Jeremy Schell
close the gap, will Doug Eichner take his new Factory
Polaris/Duncan Racing team to the top, we'll find out.
