X xc 1000R is Back, New Outlander North Edition

ATVs have long been recognized for their industry-leading
performance, precision-engineered handling and
rider-focused design and those key pillars have
been reinforced for 2018. The Can-Am ATV lineup
now includes more specialty vehicles, additional
value-driven vehicles, as well as product enhancements
and several new colorations giving consumers more
choices.

Inspired by a Can-Am “heritage model”
unveiled in 2011, the 2018 Outlander X xc 1000R
ATV makes a triumphant return, but with more performance
and exciting features. The true crossover-type
Sport-Rec performance 4x4 ATV, which includes
the DPS package features, is powered by the vigorous
89-hp Rotax 1000R liquid-cooled V-Twin engine.
FOX Podium 1.5 RC2 shocks offer adjustments for
rebound and compression (dual speed) and nine
inches (22.9 cm) of travel.
New 14-in beadlock wheels with ITP Terracross
tires provide the necessary and dependable traction
for transferring the power to the ground. Separate
front and rear hand brake controls, aluminum pre-runner
front bumper and full skid plate, Can-Am X-Team-inspired
paint (new Black, Hyper Silver & Sunburst
Yellow) and decals enhance the racinginspired
package.

Powered by either a 62hp Rotax V-Twin 650 or
78hp Rotax 850 engine, the all-new 2018 Can-Am
Outlander North Edition ATV is designed to be
the ultimate for cold weather and is appropriately
dressed in new white plastic.

The Outlander North Edition includes a full windshield,
mud guards, heated grips, throttle and visor outlets
for driver and passenger (MAX package only). For
work, the ATV has an extra low L gear for plowing
snow and includes a 3,000-lb. (1,361 kg) WARN
winch. High-traction foot pegs, promise sure footedness
for the driver, while new ITP Terracross tires
on 14-in. aluminum wheels ensure ample traction
for the vehicle. The package, which includes Tri-Mode
Dynamic Power Steering, has a starting price of
$10,699 (USD).
The 2018 Can-Am Outlander Mossy Oak Hunting Edition
ATV package has been enhanced and also now includes
even more value with the addition of the new Outlander
Mossy Oak Hunting Edition 450 ATV (starting at
$8,899 USD) and its class-leading 38hp single-cylinder
Rotax engine.

Additional engine packages include the 48hp Rotax
570 and 89hp Outlander 1000R Rotax V-Twins. The
Mossy Oak Hunting Edition ATVs have comfort and
convenience features like heated grips and thumb
throttle, reinforced seat skin, black cast-aluminum
wheels and a WARN Winch. Full skid plates and
new A-arm guards provide ample underside protection
in rugged terrain. For outstanding concealment,
the units all feature a Can-Am exclusive water-dipped
Mossy Oak Break-Up Country camo.
