The silencer simply replaces the stock unit
and uses a better clamp to secure it to the
head pipe. There is a significant weight savings
here and a lot of space is freed up by removing
the bulky stock unit and heat shields. This
modification alone changes the ATV entirely.
Firing the Honda Foreman 500 up and hearing
the throaty roar of the HMF exhaust makes you
realize that underneath all of that plastic
is an engine waiting to roll through the woods.

The Uni air filter was lubed up and installed as the final modification to the engines performance and like the Optimizer it was a simple, quick, and easy job.

Now that the engine had been brought to life we needed to get some of this power to the ground. Douglas Wheel and Tire, one of the industries leaders in ATV performance was contacted. After discussing our plans DWT agreed to send us a set of their Ultimate Beadlock Diablo (2+5) wheels and a set of their rugged Moapa 6 ply tires. These wheels are solid and have a sleek black matte finish! The tires have an aggressive pattern and once they were mounted to the wheels we knew that these were going to change the appearance of the quad dramatically. The wheels provide a wider base at the front allowing the quad to have more stability and the rears compliment the front well. We were anxious to get out there and test them but we were waiting on our custom suspension to be completed.
