LRD "Attitude" 250R frame. A Arms: The A-arms are ARS/FX
arms. They are the narrow XC arms. Swingarm: The swingarm is
also made by ARS/FX. Again its their XC version.
swingarm. Its a "no-link" swingarm. Steering Stem: Chrome +1
Roll Design anti-vibe stem. Spindles: 400ex Brakes: The calipers are
all rebuilt and PC'ed, stock 1989 250R dual
piston calipers. Aluminum brake caliper adapters
were used with the front calipers so they
would mount to the 400ex spindles. Axle: RPM Dominator, XC version Carrier: RPM tapered bearing

Engine: The
engine is taken from Bill Ballance's 2003 championship
winning GNCC 250r. Its a full race spec, power
valve 2 stroke, built and ported for Ballance
by LRD. Carburetor: Ballance's Keihen
38mm PWK Airstryker Air Filter|Box: UNI filter
wrapped in an Outwear mounted in a aluminum
Pingery airbox that was fit with an LT500 airboot
to work with the "no-link" rear shock.
Airbox is PC'ed "black texture". Pipe|Silencer: Ballance's LRD
adjustable pipe with a new LRD silencer. Clutch|Plates: Hinson basket,
inner hub and pressure plate, with stock Honda
clutch plates. Gearing F|R: 14 tooth up front
and either a 36 or 38 on the back, I can't remember
!! But both sprockets are brand new Sidewinder
Ti-Moly sprockets. CDI|Killswitch: Brand new Honda
CDI, brand new '89 wiring harness, brand new
coil, brand new voltage regulator, 200 watt
Ricky Stator hi-output stator and the kill switch
is made by PRO-ARMOR !! Cooling: High capacity Afco
aluminum dual pass radiator and a twenty fin
inline cooler. Other:
I have a Trail Tech Vapor
speedometer mounted on the bars, I have
the tach hooked up and it works great, the
speedo also works great and I also have
the water temperature probe installed.
I had to fabricate a lot
of little stuff to fit the fat tubed LRD
frame. I fabbed all the mounts for the plastic,
the gas tank mounts, the head stay mount,
the fuel petcock mount and the exhaust hanger.
Everything was fabbed from
aluminum and PC'ed "black texture".
I did ALL the powder coating
work myself.
Front brake ressy and rear
tail light are from a 450R.
Noss Machine billet rear
brake fluid ressy and a brand new rear brake
master cylinder.
