I have decided to run AMSOIL in my bike should I run it in both sides???:confused:

I do 10w40 in the engine and 20w50 v-twin oil in the clutch and haven't had one problem with the 450r or the previous cannondales that used this.
The v-twin oil is compatible with the clutches.

AMSOIL is some of the best stuff you can get. I know a guy that races cars who says when he runs a normal synthetic oil in his race tranny, the tranny is too hot to touch after a race, but when he runs AMSOIL synthetic, it runs much cooler. Very good stuff.

Why do you run 10w40 in the engine. Have you ever tried the 20w50 in both?

What should be run I have also heard 0W40 In both sides

I will probably run the 10-40 on both sides. Does anybody run the 0-40 on here?

It depends on the temp. outside. I run it in colder temps around 30 degrees. and the 10W40 when the temp is above that.

i am a amsoil dealer and they said to run the motorcycle 10w40 in the engine and they have a tranny oil that is supose to be for clutch and tranny. but i havent used the tranny because i dont have a 450r YET.

I'm not sure if their tranny oils are wet clutch compatible and may contain friction modifiers. I am also a dealer, 10w or 20w?
