What gear do you guys wear?

What types of safety gear do you guys all wear and what is the purpose of some of it(have u had it actually have to serve its purpose)??


I wear pants, jersey, boots, gloves, goggles, and helmet.


Things I do NOT wear/have are chest protector, kidney belt, any underarmor, leg /knee protection.....


What is the purpose of the kidney belt and knee protection? Is there much potential to injuries in those areas? Just wondering....

knee guards not so much on a quad but a bike yes. kidney belt there for back support i beleave. i wear fox chest per tector and usually moose or thor gear. i got a good troy lee helmet retails 300+.

i will be wearing Shift Recon pants and jersey and a Shift Agent helmet. I will not be racing heavily if any so more casual gear is cool for me

if you race you'll want a kidney belt...it just gives some extra support to your back...i know its saved my back from injury more than once...a chest protect isn't necessary, but its a really good idea... even if you don't race these are a really good thing to have

i don't wear a chest protector, but i do wear a kidney belt, and I think it's nice if your racing cross country,

Helmet has saved me quite a few times...and My chest protector has saved my shoulders multiple times I can recall 2x where i probably would have had broken shoulders had it not been on....and the knee pads are nice so your knees dont get bruised moving around on the bike...
