Im to poor to afford gear right now but I would recommend a HJC helmet. They range about 150 to 250 dollars but there great helmets and very comfortable. (Jersey, Pants and Gloves) I perfer O neal gear becuase first it is great gear, second it is a good name brand, and third they are somewhat cheepier then other name brands. As far as boots I might go with O neal but I have seen boots in my magazine for about 100 dollars. I heard they are great boots. Well thats my list.:devil

I've got all black Shift Recon Pants (I think, they are the ones that go over your boots) Shift Red, Black, and White Jersey, MSR Helmet with a Chrome Visor, it used to have a chrome stabilizer too, but I crashed and shattered it), an MSR Clear/Chrome chest protecter, and I wear Oxtar lightweight boots (The $250 version, red and black) to race and Thor T-20 boots to ride normal. And my lucky flame belt, of course I am trying to find a nice black and silver helmet for next year, not having much luck though...

I have an HJC helmet with a Troy Lee Designs crome visor but there all scratched up and the helmet has a big dent near the mouth peice. Alpinestar Tech 6 boots (hated them at first but now i love them). Fox 180 pants and a fox jersey. Scott goggles and a Fox chest protector.

I have been using Answer. The Edge gear is really nice. No matter how nasty you get after a day of playing in the mud, it washes right out!!! I have also been barrowing a set of Alpinestar boots. I thought i wouldn't like boots, but now that i am used to them (which by the way DIDN'T take long at ALL), i can't stand riding without them now!

Right now, winter, i wear fleece pants with wind pants over them, about 7 long sleeve shirts, and a windproof/waterproof jacket. I cant afford all of that riding gear. I usually just wear jeans and a t shirt. After they get too dirty (6 months) i just toss them out. my mom wont wash them so i hafta hose them off, thats why i have about 7 or 8 pairs of jeans hangng up in my garage. i alos wear oneal boots, fox gloves, and an answer mc2 hemet.
