ok I have some rear rims that are 9x8.5. And I have some sand paddles that are 20x11-8. Would it be okay to put these tires on these rims? I hope so..thanks, neil
I also hve a set of ITPs, the tires on them are 20x10-9, but the rims don't say what size they are (I could use these rims if needed)
Only the one set will fit on those wheels.
20x10-9 tire
20 is the diameter/height of the tire
10 is the width
9 is the rim size
9x8.5 wheel
9 inch wheel diameter
8.5 wide
The other set wont fit.

the banshee has the ITPs on it now, the rims dont say what exact size they are,, but the tires on them now are 20x10-9. I have a set of sand paddles that aren't on any rims, they are 20x11-8. I have a spare set of rims with no tires on them that are 9x8.5. I need to get the sand tires on my bike for the dunes next weekend. And I don't know which rims to try and put them on
Ok in that case I dont think the sand paddles will fit either of those wheels b/c they are setup for an 8 inch wheel.
You have 9 inch wheels. Both the set on the quad are 9 inches, hence the 20x10x9 tires and the other set of 9x8.5 are 9 inch wheels that are 8.5 inches wide.
I think you would need a 8x8 wheel or similar.

I have a set of rims/tires(sand paddles) that fit a honda, do you know if a machine shop can drill new holes?
Possibly, but the bolt pattern must be the same.
Honestly its more trouble than its worth, either buy tires that fit the rims or buy rims that fit your tire.
