man i dont know if i would put z max and my 4 wheeler but ...
it should make it run cooler by the advertisements i have seen on speed vision...
only thing they maded clear for that hour of advertisment is that is saves gas mileage and its fda approved or something...
but i sorta would think it would hurt your clutch but i may be mistaken...
but if you have the gas treatent i would go ahead and put some in .. be careful though cause most of that is for 15- 35 gallons of gas it was meant to mix with not two so make sure you dont give your honda to much it could break something ...
anyways tell us what happens if you do decied to run it....
remember it soaks into metal  so it should hel,p keep the temp down

DONT USE IT!!!!! i have heard noting but bad things about it. despite all the great infomercials u c and how it "soaks into metal" i read somewhere that they got sued cuz it was just motor oil w/ some sort of dye or something to give it that purpilish tint. i say stay away and dont use any additives in your motor. i think its all a big marketing scheme and just a bunch of BS. just my .02

Thanks for the insight yellow400. Although I think some chemicals are legit, I do feel like there is a lot of deception that goes along with them too. The question is, who is and who isn’t. I hate to be the one being the ginnie pig, so word of mouth is taken seriously with me. I think I’ll just let my bottle set up on the shelf and collect dust.

im not saying its going to harm anything but imo your buying something that is going to give u NO added benefits what so ever. a lot of the chemicals that are in there are the same chemicals that r in conventional motor oil. so z-max does not harm anything but imo does nothing that it claims it does. z-max w/ lincote (sp?) it soaks into metal pssssshh...HAHAHA:rolleyes:

i know its not colored motor oil because i used it in one of my old cars, but as it says soaks into metal.....i just don;t want it to have a field day on my clutch. i know it doesn't do anything because it did crap in my car, but hey a quad is smaller i might notice something.

alright... i have the zmax stuff... and i have used it in my 300ex... first off.... the small engine formula goes in ur Gas AND Oil as it says if you read the bottle... anyway, in the gas it supposedly will clean out the entire fuel system and better seal the intake valves and clean it all out... i have run it in my gas tank about 3 times...it tells u the proper amount to add for ur size gas tank... i found it slightly helped throttle response...nothing huge but it was there... then i did add to the oil as most ppl think would be a bad thing... but it shouldnt bother clutch...since ur hardly putting any in the oil... and that little bit, after slight use will be soaked into the metal... from my experience (using in the quad for about 6 months) i have all positive things to say... im not sayin u should go out and buy it, but i wouldnt be afraid to use it if u already do... sorry for the long post hope it helps

I think that the complaint filed by the FTC (Federal Trade Commision) should be enough evidence for you to NOT use the Z-Max product.
Check this link...You have to copy and paste it into GOOGLE for it to work for some reason.. otherwise it will error out on you.
http://neptune.spacebears.com/cars/legal/zmaxcomp.htm
Especicially this exerpt:
<<<<In February/March 1997, an independent laboratory performed two modified
CRC L38 tests on behalf of Defendants -- one test on motor oil alone and the other on the same motor oil treated with zMax.
In these tests, motor oil treated with zMax produced more than twice as much bearing corrosion than the motor oil alone
(185.7 milligrams of bearing weight loss for the treated oil versus 74.1 milligrams for the untreated oil).>>>>
I don't know about you but that is not the type of weight savings I am looking for!
