Would Honda Bond HT be okay to use to make a valve cover gasket? I dont feel like spending 30 bucks for one gasket

I would suggest using a new gasket.. All that gasket maker stuff is pretty messy and annoying imo

You might be able to re-use your old stock gasket if you were careful taking it off. I am still in shock that the 400ex actually has a gasket for the valve cover. I had a 350x prior to this and I didn't have the luxury of using a gasket. Gasket maker was such a PITA to install & get to seal correctly... As previously stated I would either spend the money to get the correct gasket or try to re-use your old one. Good luck.

RTV silicone if done right will work fine.

x2, the stocker will probably be fine if it came off ok.

The stock gaskets metal and reusable on the rocker cover (valve cover).

You might have to use both ,to get it to seal. That's what I had to do:( The part over the header, that sticks out, kept leaking.
