Sunny skies and a dusty track greeted drivers in the evening SxS race in beautiful Washington, Georgia. The SxS drivers really stirred up the dust as the dirt started to get worked up and dried out from the earlier ATV races.

After heading into the woods in second place, Big Country Powersports driver John Yokley battled all morning with Tim Farr and his Team Can-Am/JB Racing SxS. Lappers became an issue in the woods for Yokley as he struggled to pass in the tighter sections while dodging the growing ruts. Despite pressure from Farr, Yokley took the first place finish.

“It was a good day. I went second into the woods and after about a mile and half into the race, I got around mouse and from there I pulled away. There were some big ruts forming out there and I am just happy I didn’t get stuck,” said Yokley after his race win.
Sitting in second place overall, Tim Farr piloted his Team Can-Am/ JB Racing 41 Maverick to a second place finish. The track became very rutted, which was a handful at times for Farr, but his Can-Am Maverick seemed to handle the rough conditions well. Despite being slowed down in the woods, Farr seemed satisfied with his finish.

“We had some good momentum coming into this year. We knew this track was going to rutted out and get very technical. I just wanted to get the car through and finish in the top five,” said Farr afterwards.
