Tim Farr & CJ Greaves Win
at Crandon TORC
::Continued::
VanEperen recovered from a slow start to score
the runner-up finish. He did everything he could
to try to overtake Farr, but settled for second
at the finish. Though he gained ground on Chaney,
the championship will come down to the final three
races at the end of September.

Yamaha's
Rodney VanEperen secured a second place
finish, which allowed him to gain some
points on Kyle Chaney
|
“I was ducking underneath Tim in the turns and
his exit speed was just a little bit better,”
said VanEperen. “Everywhere else, we were just
cat and mouse. I just wish we could have had a
few more laps. I saw Kyle had some problems and
I was grinning from ear to ear. It was my chance
to capitalize and we could have gotten two more
points, but we’ll take what we have. We’ll keep
chipping away at him and do everything we can.”
Reihner is in his rookie season of pro competition
in the TORC Series and scored his best career
finish. Reihner played it smart early and then
charged at the end as the track came into form.

BAK40 Motorsport's
Thomas Reihner secured his first Pro Mod
UTV Podium of the season at Crandon
|
“I came out of the gate and was a little cautious
on the first lap,” said Reihner. “I tried to push
from there and stay in the dry dirt. I couldn’t
be happier. My best finish before this was fifth
and this is my first pro season so I’m pumped
to be up here. We come from woods racing and we
like the mud. The Maverick stayed together perfectly.
I can’t say enough about the power from this Can-Am.”
