Las Vegas, NV (1/13/2017) -
Gold Speed Tires’ Ty Sanders finished
second in the WORCS Off Road Series Pro Am ATV
race at Mesquite MX in Nevada. Sanders stepped
up this year into the Pro Am class with the
goal of finishing on the podium at every race
this season.
With Gold Speed Tires and Art Works horsepower,
Sanders’ Honda was flawless from the start.
He snagged the holeshot and, though back pain
slowed him toward the end of the race, he
held on for second.

“Art Lenear builds a great horsepower motor
and Gold Speed Tires helped me get off to
a great start,” said Sanders. “I took the
holeshot and tried to set the pace. I let
Logan around me early, and fought through
back pain to get into second at the end.”
The Mesquite track is notoriously rough.
This year’s circuit featured an extended motocross
section, as well as deep sand in the hills
surrounding the facility.

“The Fox Shocks got me through,” explained
Sanders. “It was deep whoops the whole way
through and they helped get me through it.
Maximum Oil kept the car together. The Gold
Speed Tires and Tire Blocks kept the tires
going all race.”
Sanders worked hard during the off-season
to ensure success in his first full year in
Pro Am. He previously competed in Production
A and B and is eyeing going Pro in a few years.
“We put in a lot of work in the offseason;
my dad, the mechanics, the whole family,”
said Sanders. “We’re going to push all year
long and try to get on the box.”
Sanders will return to WORCS competition
January 27-29 as the series heads to Primm,
NV.
