Racing's Dusty & Colby Kostman
Omaha, NE (7/9/2009) -
I
recently had the opportunity to visit long time
ATVriders.com site sponsor C&D Racing. While
at their facility in Omaha, Nebraska, I visited
their shop and learned that C&D Racing provides
much more than just great prices on parts, they
are also a full service garage for ATVs for local
customers and ATVriders.com members all over the
United States.
C&D Racing originated in 2000
in North Platte, NE by Colby and Dusty Kostman
with the concept of selling quality parts at affordable
prices. As long time ATV racers themselves, they
knew quality parts and service at affordable prices
were hard to come by, so they decided they wanted
to to make a difference when they started C&D
Racing.
In 2004, Colby & Dusty discovered
the IATVHSS (Iowa ATV Hare Scramble Series), and
they were hooked, and it quickly became obvious
that they needed to move to farther east, so they
would be closer to the races and the majority
of their new customers.

for team C&D Racing
In 2005, Colby & Dusty made
the move to Omaha, NE, which is located on the
Iowa border, and opened up a new shop, which offered
a wide variety of services. These services include:
revalving and repairing ATV shocks, cylinder boring,
crank rebuild and balancing, cylinder head porting,
3 angle valve and seat cutting, big bore and stroked
crank installation, building extreme engines for
the dunes and the drag strip tuned to run on alcohol
and nitrous. They also even converted ATVs to
run on E85 Fuel, but they didn’t stop their,
the also started to customize ATV’s for
XC and MX, as well as meeting their customers
standard service needs such as oil changes and
tune ups.
It didn’t take long before
the news spread that C&D Racing had arrived
in Omaha, and many new faces were showing up at
the shop for service work along with parts, and
with the increase in customer traffic, C&D
Racing purchased a full chassis dyno to aid in
the tuning of high performance engines built in
house and beyond.
Customers
can be assured that when they talk to Dusty
that her advice & product knowledge
is based off of her own racing experiences
& years of helping them make the right
choices for their individual needs

that they sell
Besides all of the services you
would expect for a full service ATV repair shop,
C&D Racing had distinct advantage over shops
because they both are also actively involved in
the sport that they service as racers and trail
riders, so they knew first hand what works and
doesn’t along with which products last and
those that don’t. This provides a huge advantage
to their customers because they have a thorough
knowledge of what problems their customers might
experience and the solutions to the problems.
